Georgia Mission Team Visits MSW Grounds10:00 AMUPCOMING EVENT -
On December 6, 2025, at 10:00 am, a team of 50 missionaries from Georgia are coming to the MSW Baptist Assembly Grounds to deliver Christmas Shoe Box Gifts to our MSW Association Churches. They will begin distributing the gifts to MSW churches at 10:00 am.
For a better collaborative MSW effort, the scheduled WMU/Men’s Ministry meeting will move from Little Cussetah to the Assembly Grounds, on December 6th, 10:00 am, to help with distribution of shoe box gifts.
At noon, after distributing the shoe box gifts, the Georgia missionaries will be eating lunch at the Assembly Grounds cafeteria.
Also, from noon until around 4:00 pm, the MSW Men’s Ministry are planning to have a cleanup / workday at the assembly grounds, and the missionaries will be helping with various projects, tree trimming, cleanup, etc. Plans and preparation for bad weather will also be considered.
We are asking the WMU to have supper prepared for the missionaries at 5:00 pm.
At 6:00 pm we would like everyone to come out and attend the worship service. We will be giving thanks to God for the Georgia missionaries and for the gifts.
These are preliminary plans at the moment! Brother David Lindsey, and Pastor Mark Smith have both worked with this program in years past and have been corresponding with Brother Bill Rush, Georgia missionary for development. Also, on board with planning are Brother Nick, Brother Roley, and Sister Teri Fish. We will post information right here and on the MSW website of any further developments.
